Art Talks
Have you ever wanted to understand, appreciate and enjoy art more? Would you like to find out what exactly makes Leonardo's Mona Lisa or Michelangelo's Last Judgement such great masterpieces? Would you like to explore the great questions of life through the eyes of Rembrandt and Van Gogh? Well here is your opportunity! The art consultancy Sheeran Lock is organising a fascinating programme of 80 illustrated art talks in Framlingham, Suffolk, UK called 'Discover the Great Painters: From Giotto to Picasso'. This ambitious project covers 700 years of Western art and will take over two years to complete. Each talk considers in depth the life and work of one artist. The first series of 10 talks covers The Early Renaissance and features wonderful painters such as Fra Angelico, Piero della Francesca, Botticelli and Van Eyck.

Speaker
John Sheeran is an experienced and popular art lecturer, much admired for the way he brings the Old and Modern Masters to life. He was Curator of Dulwich Picture Gallery before setting up the art consultancy Sheeran Lock Ltd in 1990. He has organised many art exhibitions, including for HRH The Prince of Wales and the United Nations, and curates the Sheeran Lock Online Art Gallery (www.sheeranlockartgallery.com). John's lectures are delivered in a relaxed and informative manner, and are illustrated with superb quality images.
